My name is Elizabeth Silker Pienkos. I was born on August 20, 1983 in Monroe NY, which makes me 24 years old. It is a good age to be. I currently live in Portland, Oregon, a city of over 500,000 where I recently moved from Williams, OR, a town of 2500. I lived half of my life in Houston, TX, so being in a city is not totally unfamiliar, but there is a lot of readjusting to do. My idea is that this blog will chronicle my observations, my growth, and my general experience of the world in an attempt to make some sort of sense out of the patterns my life generates. Well, maybe it will do that, most likely it will be a good way for me to vent and critique and appreciate the world around me.  Regardless, I will certainly be enjoying the process, and hopefully you will too.
